Today a historically large expansion of the digital infrastructure is taking place all over the country. Server farms have been established in various places to enable the digital access that we require for our interconnected habits. At the same time, the server is not present in our public space.

My degree project examines the server as an object, and how the inner activity can be decoded and generate physical expressions in our common areas. By working with the energy of the server I investigate immateriality, airflow and coincidences. How can an embodiment that mirrors the actual use make the server breathe?
