Title: “hej vännen” – a conversation about being Asian in Sweden with Tobias Hübinette
A conversation between Nanna Li and researcher/author Tobias Hübinette about being Asian* in Sweden. With Li’s graduation project “hej vännen” and Tobias’ book “Swedish Asians” as starting points, we’ll move between personal experiences and broader perspectives.
*“Asian” here refers to people with East and Southeast Asian backgrounds.

In “Phonotriene”, ceramic and human bodies collaborate in a spiritual repatriation ritual expressed through sound, movement, and materiality. Viking entities, which have been summoned for decades by Venezuelan shamans to guide and protect their followers, are now offered a passage to return to their ancient homeland.

Title: Design talk: Designing a Transition for Regenerative Wildfires with Biochar
As boreal forests become increasingly vulnerable to wildfires, this talk reflects on soil moisture and carbon as conditions shaping regeneration. Through material exploration with biochar and two time-based interventions, it explores how forest management might be rethought over time, opening space for more regenerative approaches to wildfire prevention.

Title: Curating Between Platforms and Performativity
Participants from CuratorLab will present their final curatorial projects, developed after a year of exploring platforms and performativity from a curatorial perspective. These projects span a wide range of approaches, including hair salons, cassette tapes, sunken ships, gossip magazines, meditation, open archives, emotional engagements with historical material, and open-ended questions about possible forms of gathering within contemporary art.

Title: Swedish Asians–a relational exploration** with Magdalena Tran
A workshop with relational artist Magdalena Tran in a practice called circling. Here, participants are invited into an exploration into experiences of identity, belonging, and being Asian in Sweden. Through simple somatic and relational exercises, we create a space for reflection, listening, and authentic connection.
