This degree project revolves around art teachers and how they work from an intercultural perspective. A number of interviews were conducted with primary school teachers, and one of the questions asked was: ‘Which artists are usually included in your teaching?’

These portraits were created based on their answers concerning which artists are represented in the teaching. My design work uncovers what things are like in certain schools, and is intended to spark reflection on visual arts teaching, representation and interculturality. And thoughts on what could be developed – for, among other things, inclusion and community.
