In my degree project, I explore illusions both in reality and imagery, in everything from religion to social media. The way our brains take in information but at times distort it or even filter bits out fascinates me.
How you can fool the eyes and create something that seems to distort reality or cross dimensions? Through my weavings, I want the viewer to question how far they can trust their own senses and preconceptions. With this, I want to encourage critical thinking, while also highlighting that illusions and misinformation can hide in unexpected places.
