and Because I Want to, I Want to, I Want to.
"Stand up for yourself", hammered brass, 2026‘The forest’. No mirrors encountered. No sudden body dysmorphia. No excluding public bathrooms. Just moss, trees and blueberry bush. There your pee travels from body to ground, nurturing everything around you. All of which you are part of. You fucking love the forest.
‘Your shoes’. You wore them out, because of the power they gave you, because of the power of dancing. So, you wore them out. They mended you, as you will now mend them. But the clothes they don’t fit your body, your mind, your arms. The sleeves are too wide, too long, too long for you. You don’t understand. Was the tailor mistaken? Now all the sleeves are…too short.
You wonder, does clothing have its own life?
A space cannot be designed; it can only evolve through actions of living.
