The world is in code. Pre-programmed. Encoded. De-coded. Don’t you see, everything is connected and the universe speaks in a strange language of signs, everywhere! When you start to see the patterns in the fabric of daily life, you can’t stop.
Thick and thin black lines connect the tiniest mundane components to gigantic, complex systems.
“Have you ever felt that things on radio, TV or in newspapers are directed at you or contain hidden messages meant only for you?”, asks the psychiatric assessment questionnaire during an evaluation.
Eh, can’t a girl notice some patterns!?
Kristina Malla (b. 1995) works with illustration, text, sculpture and installation. She explores how humans construct understandings of the world through visual systems.
