Dimitra Liogka (b.1997, Greece) explores how beauty and romance can evoke discomfort, investigating identity and the female body through imaginary figures and symbolic narratives drawn from dualities in nature, such as shells, hair, and organic forms, that appear both tender and unsettling. Working slowly and intuitively in oil painting, she creates intimate environments where desire, fragility and tension coexist.
