The Dissonance is Deafening
Arvid Staaf (He/him)
Sweden, b. 1989
Can you feel it? The dissonance is deafening.
I try to make and live as open-endedly as possible.
What I do is as inspired by archaeology and history as it is by my own life and thoughts.
Underground culture has been and is an important part of my life and I try to work in a way that follows similar mechanisms, that you can see how and of what things are made. I think it is a way to shorten the distance between the one who makes, and the one who experiences. A way of being together. Community might be the word I am looking for.
The musical aspect of this work is roughly 25 minutes long and comes with sonic contributions from Zakarias Lindhammar, Alex Purkis, Ignacio Roulet and Andy Tseung.
