A clear sign of spring is when the outdoor cafés and restaurants start to sprout up and the city comes to life. I want to live in a city where people can meet and create life, and with my design I want to contribute by simplifying and improving the conditions.

I have designed a modular system for outdoor seating that is primarily aimed at cafés and small bars along the city’s pavements.

The objective is to make it easier for businesses and their staff to set up outdoor seating areas and contribute to a more dynamic and accessible urban environment.

The project focuses on how technology, structure and material choices work together to create a solution that is functional, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing. In my role as industrial designer, I want to create a scalable system that can grow and be adapted to different needs. A flexible and modular design enables adaptation to different places, where the space can be easily returned to the city when the outdoor seating is not in use.
