Plant blindness describes an inability to observe and identify trees and plants in our surroundings. By translating organic forms into letters, I want to draw attention to how we overlook the nature around us. A parallel can be drawn to how we learn to read. Before reading skills are developed, letters and words are perceived as abstract forms without clear meaning but once reading is mastered a new world opens up. In the same way, a deeper understanding of the nature around us can change how we experience it.
