Hedvig Ingvarsson

I paint with an interest in the elusive in everyday life. The most recent paintings dwell on side paths and sidelong glances; events that take place off the main road. In in-between places and marginal occurrences, close to stillness, I explore the question of what it takes for something to happen. The project investigates a latent movement within what appears to be empty, a state in which something can begin, something is unfolding.
