It holds the highest cultural heritage classification and today houses the Stockholm City Museum. <\/p>\n<p>My degree project is called \u201cS\u00f6dra Stadshusets Bakficka\u201d or \u201cThe Back Pocket of the Southern City Hall\u201d. It envisions a public meeting space at the intersection of cultural policy, urban space, interior architecture and furniture design. It demonstrates how underutilised areas can be activated and developed into inclusive, dialogue-driven environments, by highlighting the potential within existing spaces and showing how small, precise interventions can open up new possibilities within historical settings.<\/p>\n<p>The interior is designed to make an impression through its form and materiality. The furniture should last for a long time and age gracefully over time.
