\u201cCalendar 4-EVER\u201d is an infinite calendar. It\u2019s an analogue instrument that displays the year, month, week number, day of the week and date for any day, no matter how far away. <\/p>\n
By creating an analogue algorithm, integrating it into a form and deliberately adding \u2018design friction\u2019 through haptic attributes, the work explores how that can improve user interaction. <\/p>\n
What would you do if you wanted to know something about a specific day, such as what day of the week you were born, when the next Friday the 13th takes places, what week Apollo 11 was on the moon, or what date the holidays start the year after next? How would you do it if you didn’t have access to digital tools?<\/p>\n
