Light shines through the empty spaces I have cut out of the paper, and in the presence of darkness, shadows fall softly on the surrounding surfaces. It is within this world of shadows that the video installation \u2766(Hedera) moves, among blurry memories, behind swaying foliage, on a journey through an uncertain gloom. Into a darkness that I want to embrace, just as I feel it has embraced me through my artistry.<\/p>\n
\u2018Cut. An image appears under my eyelids. It goes too fast. Cut. The shadow of a tree sways against a wall, but the tree seems to be gone. Cut. There\u2019s an ivy hanging in a window. Cut. On a track in the night a train passes by. The distance both grows and shrinks at the same time. Cut. I see how the darkness embraces her \u2013 or actually I don\u2019t see it, I feel it, how it embraces us both, warm and soft. Cut.\u2019<\/p>\n
