In this movement, information is compressed and fragmented. Within the work, this shift continues as the digital material is translated into physical form through relief and casting, where the image becomes an imprint.<\/p>\n
This imprint meets the metal, which carries its own traces across multiple layers, from cosmic and geological processes to human extraction and circulation. In a volatile present, where values, images and systems rapidly shift, metal appears both as something stable and as a material closely tied to ideas of crisis, storage and collapse. Here, different temporal layers intersect, as accelerated image flows are fixed in a material that already holds traces of much slower processes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
My degree project emerges from a longer, gradual formation of symbols, where forms have developed unconsciously over time.
