Have you ever been tempted to eat trash? Years ago I found myself in a situation where my finances didn\u2019t add up. I had run out of CSN and still had a year of my education left, which forced me to live as cheaply as possible. During that time I started dumpster diving, basically all the food I ate was either salvaged or bought using deposit-return money. And I realised how important it is to have access to good food for free.<\/p>\n
But dumpster diving isn\u2019t as accessible as it was ten years ago. New environmental regulations and the fact that more stores lock up their trash make it harder, while the food we buy just keeps getting more expensive.<\/p>\n
