There is a void in me,
\nbetween my thoughts,
\nhidden behind all the noise,
\nis where it resides.<\/p>\n
From a distance, it appears frightening,
\nan unyielding darkness, infinite in its reach.<\/p>\n
What horrors lurks in its depths?<\/p>\n
To meet it, one must surrender,
\nlet go of certainty,
\nrelease the grip of the ego.
\nIn this void, meaning dissolves,
\nhope for the future fades,
\nthe weight of the past drifts away.
\nOnly the present remains,
\nand the demand to be in it.<\/p>\n
I once feared the darkness, the unknown.
\nNow I see it as a part of myself,
\nan essential, unexplored aspect of my being.<\/p>\n
The void no longer threatens;
\nit moves, it beckons,
\nsoftly, playfully.<\/p>\n
