This project is about a year ago, when I returned to my motherland (Colombia) for the first time, trying to reconnect with my relatively unknown origins as an adoptee. It was a partly unsuccessful journey that ended with a concussion, impaired hearing and several weeks in a wheelchair.<\/p>\n
The consequences of this new life as injured, dizzy, and partially deaf led me to begin practicing TM (Transcendental Meditation), which has changed my life for the better.<\/p>\n
The meditation armchair is made from two broken hospital beds that I recycled. It is designed for meditation and rest, incorporating various functions retained from the hospital beds.<\/p>\n
