This year’s graphic concept is created by Konstfack alumni Otis Huss and Einar Zotterman. They have used the classic, playful drawing game “connect the dots” as a way of speaking about research and process \u2013 about how things are linked together such as thoughts, themes, people, artistic freedom. But it is also a way of describing the paths into Konstfack and how, once here as a student, you can connect the dots in your own, completely unique way.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor us, artistic research is about reconnecting \u2013 challenging habitual ways of thinking and creating unexpected connections. As a starting point for our design system, we created our own connect-the-dots game based on the word ‘v\u00e5rutst\u00e4llning’. The dots can be connected ‘correctly’ to spell out the word, or reconnected freely, allowing for multiple layers of meaning and expression,\u201d say Otis Huss and Einar Zotterman. <\/p>\n
Both are alumni of Konstfack\u2019s Bachelor\u2019s programme in Graphic Design and Illustration. Otis graduated in 2023 and Einar in 2025.<\/p>\n
